Turning Point Youth Ministry

Wednesday Night Youth Group - 6:30 PM

Youth Group meets every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.  We meet at the Mechanicsburg Community Center at 201 E. Green Street.

 

Grades 6 through 12 are invited to make long lasting friendships and discuss relevant topics based on Biblical teaching as well as come out and have a great time!

10th - 12th grade Bible Study

10th - 12th grade youth enjoy small group verse by verse bible study, community service, and prayer for one another in the Pastor George's Home.  Group meets most Sunday evenings from 6-8pm.

Sunday School

Youth 6th - 12th grade can join us for Sunday School at 9:15 on Sunday mornings at TPC. In these short lessons, we focus on basic bible stories and the application of the truths they teach,

Youth Mission Trip

Youth will be travelling to Beckley  WV on July 14th through July 19th, 2019 to serve the under-resourced and needy.  Cost for the trip is $400 per youth and your $50 down payment reserves your spot.  The rest of the funds can be obrtained by participating in fundraising.   Call 592-9959 for more information.

Leaders working with TPC Youth

 

Pastor George and Rebecca Spangler

   The leaders of Turning Point Church serve with all groups within the church.  Currently they are part of the High and Middle School Sunday School teaching team.  They have been serving in churches at varied levels for 20 plus years.  George and Rebecca have served as youth leaders, teachers, organizers, event planners, as well as many other serving positions and they even planted a church. They have two teenagers and a 25 pound cat.  Their hearts are with everyone in TPC.

 

Coulson and Paige Shaul

     Coulson and Paige are our Wednesday night youth leaders during the school year..  They have lead the youth group for the last several years. Coulson and Paige are newly married and have been a big part of the leadership at Camp YoliJwa leading kids and youth all summer.  They bring a  great depth and energy to the lessons and games every Wednesday.  They are a great couple for our youth to look up to.

 

Bob and Heather Uhler  

    Bob and Heather have a heart for youth.  They have been serving in churches for many years.  Bob and Heather have even opened their home to kids in their community to be a safe place to come and learn about faith and enjoying fellowship as well.  Bob and Heather serve as youth helpers through the school year and lead youth group through the summer.  They are also part of the Sunday High and Middle School Class team.  Bob and Heather have two teenage children.  The whole family have serving hearts helping their community in many ways including serving the homeless on a regular basis.
